A "skill" from the frontier set doesn't specify which type of skill, so it can be combo skill, battle skill or even the ultimate as long as it recovers sp, it's the devs fault for not being specific enough to make them easily understandable by certain players
don't confuse people, it does work with any 'skill' that recovers SP (her ult as well), it is LITERALLY not specified in the description which of the 3 skills exactly. you can confirm it by comparing the damage with only an SPbat in team (or check the status bar of operators to see the buff xd). the description of Thermite Cutter has the same statement of 'skill' and it works the same way as well. and just so you know, the 'skill' you mean is a battle skill which is not a 'skill' as well
Frontier set DOESNT work with her, it require to gain sp from SKILL, not from combo skill, not ultimate, only from skill, she doesnt work like this, i beg u - update guide
My guess is that if her ult does scale with an ult damage stat, she probably would have benefited more with that armor because of the gloves' trait for faster charging of the ultimate. Is there any way to clarify if it really does scale?
Wouldn’t it be better to have Frontier Armor T3? Stats are mostly the same except T3 increases secondary attribute while original increases ult damage. Akekuri’s talent makes it so that her combo skill recovers more SP based on her intellect, which is her secondary attribute, thus benefiting more from T3 than original.
