I did count them. A furry is supposed to still have human characteristics. The 5 male character I count are furries. The two I don't count doesn't look anything human so no they aren't even furries.

tbf OG AK WASN'T even good ratio 1:4 ( kind alike 3 to4 6 star male per year tbh )
I'm not going to claim there's an abundance of male characters, but there is more than two. Out of the 22 operators currently available, 7 of them are male. That's an 8 to 14 ratio at the moment I'm writing this (or 7 to 14 if playing as the penguin). You can't deny that the audience for these games are overwhelmingly male and thus devs tend to cater to that. In time, I'm sure they'll add more. but for now, they cater to the core audience: men who want cute waifus.
