You can only get the Summoning Altar by building it using the materials listed above. You'll also need to unlock the Technology tied to it by raising your Level and using up Ancient Technology Points.

One-Time Use

The Summoning Altar is a one-time use structure, and will disappear after a raid boss fight attempt, regardless of whether you beat the boss or not.

You will not get your Stones and Paldium Fragments back after each boss fight, so try to stock up on these materials if you want to challenge bosses multiple times!

Get From Ancient Technology Tree

Though it might be easy to overlook, the Summoning Altar does not show up in the regular Technology Tree, as it belongs to the Ancient Technology Tree to the right. You can unlock it by spending 3 Ancient Technology Points once you have reached Level 33.

Collect Slab Fragments

Summoning Altars are used to Summon Raid Bosses, but building them alone is not enough to summon the boss.

In order for the Summoning Altar to work, you will need to collect Slab Fragments of Pals. As of current update, the only Slab Fragments available are that of Bellanoir and Bellanoir Libero. These Slab Fragments are located inside dungeon chests.

After collecting four of the same Slab Fragments, you can now then head to any Workbenches you have to craft a Pal Slab. Alternatively, there is one Pal Slab that can be obtained via loot, this is the Bellanoir Libero (Ultra) Slab, this is only dropped by chance whenever you successfully defeat Bellanoir Libero.

A Pal Slab is required in order for a Raid Boss to show up at your Summoning Altar.

How to Craft and Use Bellanoir's Slab

Summon Raid Boss

After successfully crafting a Pal Slab, go ahead and use it on a Summoning Altar that you have. The Pal on the Slab will appear as a Raid Boss and you will have to battle this boss to get multiple useful rewards.

Do take note that Summoning Altars can only be used once and will be useless after you have successfully summoned a Raid Boss.
