The Stars in Their Eyes is one of the main quests in Horizon Forbidden West: Burning Shores (HFW). Read on to see a detailed walkthrough of the quest, its rewards, location, how to disable the lockdown, as well as how to get the Words of Attainment easily.

| 1 | Meet Seyka at Fleet's End and Ride the Skiff to the Coordinates Head to Fleet's End and talk to Seyka. After the cutscene, Seyka will steer the boat automatically to the next location. |
| 2 | Go to the Coordinates Head up the path from the beach and across the rope bridge to the cave. An easter egg players may want to try is if Aloy wants to fly to the cave, Seyka will refuse and continue on foot. |
| 3 | Scan the Device Do not try to enter the cave or else Aloy will get electrocuted from the forcefield. Scan the device in the cave from the outside. A cutscene will play out showing the location of the two generators that is powering the barrier. |
| 4 | Disable the Northern and Southern Generators Head back across the rope bridge, to the east of the cave, where the generators will be located. There will be a large field with a lot of enemies including Bileguts and numerous Stingspawn Eggs. After which, players can use the geysers or climb up to override each generator's controls. Aloy needs to hold the machine part in place while Seyka destroys it. |
| 5 | Return and Explore the Compound Head back and proceed through the cave. A cutscene will play out when you speak with the Quen Guards at the other end. |
| 6 | Go to the Ascension Hall Continue through the cave and observe Londra's Hologram before entering the main room. Players may want to interact with the different Quen devotees as well as Londra's holograms at the three corners of the room before proceeding. These holograms will contain the answers for the Words of Attainment later on and can be rewatched when the objective comes up. |
| 7 | Talk to Brenik and Find the Words of Attainment After speaking to Brenik at the other end of the room players will get the objective to find the Words of Attainment which will unlock when selecting They were dedicated when talking to Otosu or A new world when speaking to Kiral. Otosu can be found to the west side of the room on the lower level while Kiral can be found at one of the corners of the room in front of a digital display. A third way to find the Words of Attainment is to head to the crates right at the foot of the stairs of the dining area. There will be a datapoint you can access in the secret room. |
| 8 | Go to the Ascension Hall and Explore It Proceed forward to the ascension hall and activate the lift. Once players are in the room with the spaceship, approach and scan the three different points. After speaking with Seyka, be prepared for a fight against some Quen. |
| 9 | Search for a Way to Disable the Lockdown To disable the lockdown, fight your way through the guards and reach three different rooms that have power nodes/glowing red machines that you can override. The first room will be found by going to the lowest level and heading up a ramp to the corner of the map (as shown above).The second room will be beside a bridge at the middle level and there will be a blinking red light showing the door. When looking at the map, it is at the center-north side of the room. |
| 10 | Search for a Way to Disable the Lockdown The third power node will be nearer to the side where Aloy and Seyka entered. Facing the spaceship, it will be on the left side of the room next to some crates. In the map, it will show that it is on the center-south side of the room. |
| 11 | Go to Zeth's Platform and Defeat Zeth Go through the door that just unlocked which will be right across the room where the third node is. Once there, defeat Zeth. He will launch homing projectiles at Aloy which she can dodge by getting behind the nearby crates or rolling. Also watch out for when he scatters electric projectiles in a wide area. Make sure to also bring weapons that have acid and electric-based attacks as Zeth is weak to these elements. |
| 12 | Examine the Weapon After defeating him, players will be able to modify his weapon, the Specter Gauntlet and use it for themselves in combat. |
| 13 | Return to the Main Compound and Exit Head back the way you came all through to the entrance of the cave to finish this main quest. |

How to Get the Words of Attainment Easily
Behind the Stairs Near the Dining Area
Aside from listening to all of Londra's holograms at the four corners of the main room, players can easily get the Words of Attainment through a datapoint underneath the dining area. A room will be concealed next to some stairs and some big cargo crates. Head inside and the datapoint, called Devoted, will be to the left. It contains both of the correct answers (Devotion and New World) needed to progress the quest.

Scan and Destroy Stingspawn Eggs
During the part of the quest where players have to destroy the generator, there will be a lot of Stingspawn Eggs scattered around the field. Make sure to destroy them before approaching as multiple Stingspawns can be annoying to deal with alongside trying to defeat the larger enemy.
Fire and Frost weapons for the Bileguts

Make Use of the Crates to Avoid Damage from Zeth
Zeth's attacks will mostly consist of powerful ranged projectiles. Use the crates around you as well as keeping an eye on when to roll to avoid damage.
Aim at Zeth's Helmet
Use tear damage to get rid of Zeth's helmet, exposing another weak spot during your fight.
