Complete The Sea of Sands and Talk to Delah and Abadund

You can unlock the Hidden Embers area after completing The Sea of Sands main quest.

How to Complete

Objectives
1 Meet Delah at the ArchesMeet Delah at the Arches
Go to the map marker to find and talk to Delah at the Arches
2 Search and Folllow BoomerSearch and Folllow Boomer's Tracks
Use your Focus to find Boomer's tracks. Follow them until you reach an area infested with machines.
3 Kill the MachinesKill the Machines
Kill the machines in the area to continue finding Boomer. Use the traps near the area to take down machines faster.
4 Investigate BoomerInvestigate Boomer's Camp
Proceed to Boomer's camp to investigate.
5 Follow the TracksFollow the Tracks
Use your Focus to highlight Boomer's tracks.
6 Climb Up to the Wreck
At the end of the trail, climb up the cliff to reach the wreck. After reaching the top, you'll reach a small shelter.
7 Examine the DeviceExamine the Device
Examine Boomer's device and check the wreck site after.
8 Examine the ToolsExamine the Tools
After arriving at the wreck site, examine the tools to find Boomer.
9 Kill the Machines and Help BoomerKill the Machines
Kill the incoming machines to talk to Delah and Boomer.
10 Talk to Delah and BoomerTalk to Delah and Boomer
Talk to the siblings after killing the machine.
11 Follow BoomerFollow Boomer
Follow Boomer until you reach the machine site.
12 Kill the ShellsnapperKill the Shellsnapper
Use your new weapon against the Shellsnapper and kill it.
13 Return to Delah and BoomerTalk to Delah and Boomer
Talk to Delah and Boomer after killing the machine to complete the side quest.

Tips and Strategies

Use Acid Ammo Against the Shellsnapper

Acid ammo is very effective against Shellsnappers, as it will tear down their components quickly, allowing you to rip them apart easier.
