How to Setup Jobs Banner

Upgrading weapons, outfits, and other types of equipment is important as you progress though the Forbidden West. Read on to learn how to set up jobs and upgrade your equipment in the game!

What Are Jobs

Upgrade Your Equipment

Jobs are mini-quests that you can setup in order to get resources to upgrade weapons, outfits, and other equipment. As you progress through the game, you will need to have better overall equipment. Setting up jobs are a great way to get better gear which can aid your quests and battles down the line.

How to Set Up Jobs

Find a Workbench

Workbench
To set up a job, simply go to any workbench. Workbenches can be found in Settlements all across the map and can be accessed anytime.

Select What To Upgrade

Select Upgrade
You can choose which piece of equipment you want to upgrade and after selecting an item, create a job for that item.

Create the Job

Create Job
Once you create the job, you're all set! You can now start to find the item you want to upgrade.

How to Cancel a Job

Abandon Job in Workbench
If you're on a Workbench, you can go simply select Abandon Job and the job will be cancelled.
Abandon Job in Quests menu
You can also go to the Jobs section under the Quests menu to abandon the job.

You can keep track of your current job by going to the Jobs section under the Quests menu.
