One way to bring the Dreadwing to the ground is to put it into a Burning State. You can also use that chance to damage as much as you can before it recovers.
You can briefly ground Dreadwing by destroying the Metalbite Sac on its neck. It will also cause a large explosion that will deal damage to Dreadwing. A couple of hits using Precision Arrows should be able to destroy it.
Although Dreadwing has strong resistance against Shock Damage, you can still put it into a Paralyzed State by hitting the Sparkers on its shoulder using Shock projectiles. Hit it with a Critical Strike once downed to chunk off a large portion of its HP.
Dreadwing's Bomb Launcher component lets you use it as long as you can detach it. If you're aiming for this usable weapon, hit it using weapons with high Tear Stats to remove it in just a few shots. You can remove it on Dreadwing's chest.
You can have a better view of Dreadwing once you remove its Stealth Generator, as it will let it be invisible. Removing it will also allow you to tag Dreadwing and its components using your Focus if you manage to yank the Stealth Generator out. You can find it near the leg of Dreadwing.
