Visual Glitches

Base Floor Glitch

Here's a glitch where the floor just literally vanishes. Aren't you glad there isn't fall damage in this game? It takes a while for things to load properly, so we recommend not skipping dialogues to prevent floor glitches!

Tenakth Skirmisher Armor Glitch #1

Tenakth Skirmisher armor has a tendency to glitch out in cutscenes. You can spot parts of the armor glitching out and not rendering properly in some scenes.

Tenakth Skirmisher Armor Glitch #2

Another armor glitch where the Tenakth Skirmisher Armor changes into the ancient armor during the cutscene with Regalla but changes back into itself once the scene ends.

Pop-In Textures

Some constructs in-game glitch and pop out randomly like this. Don't worry you're still in the same place as you were, it just takes a few seconds for things to render properly and pop up.

Cutscene Rendering Glitches

Yeah, just, sometimes everything won't render properly right away in cutscenes—from the environment down to cosmetics.

Sunwing Lure Call Glitch

You might encounter this glitch where after calling the Sunwing, it decides to spawn under ground.

Gameplay Glitches

Kotallo in The Broken Sky Quest

Dude, what are you doing? Kotallo glitches and gets stuck in place trying to progress through the quest with you. Poor guy.

Avoid fast travelling and returning. Upon testing this, we have experienced the game crashing. Its best to load a save to fix this problem.

Skydrifter Glitch

You might spot a skydrifter glitching out from time to time. Free kills!

Random Death Scene

After slaying Slitherfang, the quest glitches and Aloy randomly undergoes a death scene. Jump to the 22:18 minute mark of the walkthrough for the glitch.

CHI Walkthrough and Guide

Platform Glitch

You might encounter a frustrating movement glitch while playing through Cauldrons. If you keep randomly falling down on platforms while playing like in the gif, restart your game to fix it.

Floating Aloy Glitch

During combat, Aloy glitches at times and appears to be floating and ghosting through land. Try resetting the game to fix this glitch.

Chainscrape Melee Pit Bug

There have been reports of the melee pit in Chainscrape bugging out and not letting players complete the challenge/tutorial quests from the Pitmaster.

You either get stuck at a black screen after entering the tutorial or challenge tabs, or can't complete the quest despite speaking with the Pitmaster.

Tallneck Glitch

Some players have reported that after completing the Tallneck objectives, it did not register as complete from the quest menu, preventing them from getting 100% completion.
