Relic Ruins: Restless Weald is the fourth Relic Ruins quest you can access in Horizon Forbidden West (HFW). Read on to learn the best approach to completing this quest, as well as other hints and advice.

To complete this Quest, you will need the Igniter ability for your Spear. You can obtain this by taking part in the Story Quest 'Death's Door'.

Rebel Ruins: Restless Weald Walkthrough

How to Complete

Objectives
1 CodedWall Medium.jpeg Remember the Entrance
Take note of the 4 numbers above the entrance of the ruins, particularly the '6'. The order will be necessary to figuring out this ruins' code.
2 Door_Code_Hint Large.jpeg Get the Hint For the Door Code
After entering, you should see some barrels on your left. Destroy them and scan the Datapoint to receive a hint for opening the door of these ruins.
3 GetToTheDoor Large.jpeg Find the Door
Check the area to the immediately left of where you scanned the Datapoint to find a series of ledges for you to climb. Dislodge the ladder to the left of these ledges, and then climb to find a door and another Datapoint.
4 FIndTheTrain Large.jpeg Find the Traincar
After scanning the door and key console, jump off the left side of the paltform, go straight until you have exited the ruins, and head right. You will see a train car on your tight side.
5 SwitchTheTracks Medium.jpeg Switch the Tracks
Pull the train cart (away from the ruins) until it is past the track switching switch (Aloy will alert you when you can stop). Afterwards flip the switch so that the train will run on the straight tracks.
6 GetTheKeyCard Large.jpeg Get the Key
Push the train car along the straight tracks until Aloy tells you to stop. Then climb to the top of the cart then onto the ledge next to it. Go along the rope wire to find a key on a lone platform.
7 OpenTheDoor Large.jpeg Open the Door
Now that you have the key and the hint for the code, head back to the door. Upon inserting the key, you will have to input a code. The Datapoint states that the code is the year that the current ruins were created which is 1923, similar to the numbers outside (sans the 9).
8 NewTrainTracks Large.jpeg Open a New Path For the Train
After opening the door, use the zip line to enter the other part of the ruins. You should she a patch of Firgleam. Igniting this opens a new path for the train.
9 ResetTheTrain Medium.jpeg Reset the Tracks
Now that the train car can enter the ruins, pull it back past the switch once more. then change the tracks so that the train car once again runs on the curved path.
10 GetTheOrnament Large.jpeg Push the Traincar and Collect the Ornament
Push the train car as far as you can into the ruins (Aloy will tell you to stop). After you jump on top car follow the ledges to reach the area where the ornament is located. This completes this quest.

Tips and Strategies

Make Sure to Get the Greenshine Sliver

Before pushing the traincar completely inside the ruins, stop it just before the opening. This will give you the proper footing to climb up to a ledge where you can get a sliver of Greenshine.
