Horizon Forbidden West does not feature the ability to transfer data from HZD to HFW. This decision was likely made to avoid players from being too overpowered at the start of the game, and to avoid alienating players who are just getting into the series with Forbidden West.

Will There Be Save File Bonuses?

Since Horizon Forbidden West does not include any option to transfer data over from Horizon Zero Dawn, there are no bonuses for having a Horizon Zero Dawn save file aside from having experienced the previous game in the series.

Upgrading PS4 Version to PS5
