Note that this area will only be made available after finishing The Embassy Main Quest
Once you've completed The Embassy Main Quest the location of this Tallneck will be given to you by Lawan. From the border of the East and the West head further West.
Once you've gone past the Skydrifter area, use your focus to pickup the signal of the Tallneck, represented by a pulsing purple dot,. The quest for the Tallneck will be unlocked in the process. Follow this ping or the map to find the Tallneck.
Be careful though as a Skydrifter and some Scrappers roam the area!

We recommend destroying the machines as soon as you can, either stealthily or through powerful attacks! This will make things easier later on when you attempt to climb the Tallneck.
Of course, if you're having difficulty with this you can always avoid combat altogether and carefully make your way towards the Satellite.
Scan the generator beneath the satellite and take note of it's location as you'll need it later. You can also loot a few items and materials as well as a datapoint!
Knock down the ladder at the edge of the Satellite and make your way up until you encounter a datapad thats not functioning. Continue upwards until Aloy comments on the Satellite not being in the right position.
You'll find another ladder that you can lower on the side of the platform.
Head down here and follow the climbing points until you see a Power Cell.
Take the Power Cell and hop off the Satellite. Don't worry, jumping from this height won't hurt you and there are a few platforms you can hop on to reduce the chances!
Head back to the generator to insert the Power Cell! The satellite will begin to move, but eventually get stuck so you'll need to climb back up.
Using your Focus, scan the cables that hold the Satellite to the base to determine the weak points. Shoot these points with an arrow to free them.
After this, you should be good to go and climb up! Head up the ladder and choose a launch point, preferably one side that juts out quite a bit.
Once the Tallneck is approaching, leap off the point and pop out your Shieldwing to gently glide down. Aim for the climbable parts!
Once you've grabbed a hold of the Tallneck, climb up using your Focus to mark the different climbing spots.
Now that the worst is over, step forward and use your spear to override the Tallneck. This will reveal a chunk of the map, along with the machine sites that you can find!
