It may not be possible for Aloy to be in a romantic relationship in Horizon Forbidden West, as she is portrayed as an independent, strong female character in the Horizon series. A major factor backing this answer is the storyline in Horizon Zero Dawn. She rejected almost every male character she encountered.

She may also be caring and always gives an extra hand to those in need, but she is tough as a rock and will do anything to reach her goals, and being in a romantic relationship is not one of those.

However, it is still possible that she gets in a relationship after completing her quest and journey in the future.

The best candidate so far is Erend. He has been close to Aloy ever since the massacre at the proving. They've been together through thick and thin, solving and pushing through every challenge that comes their way.

After the quest in the Sunfall in Horizon Zero Dawn, he vaguely confessed his feelings for Aloy. Aloy answered in the same manner, telling him she always has a minute and maybe even two for him.

Erend will have more chances to get closer to Aloy at Horizon Forbidden West, as there will be more interactions waiting for them in the story. We can see this in the first gameplay trailer.

Although there is no confirmed appearance from the Sun-King Avad, he is also a possible partner for Aloy. He got help from Aloy when she was investigating in the Sunfall with Erend.

Avad admired Aloy after helping him and seeing her good, strong, and appealing side. He confessed and offered himself to Aloy, but sadly, he got shot down.
