You can now preload Horizon Forbidden West! Preload for the game began on February 11, 2022. Currently, players are able to download the files and will be able to play the game immediately on release.

Step 1 Go to Playstation Store and look for Horizon Forbidden West.
Step 2 Select download and wait for it to finish.
Step 3 Wait for the game's release on the 18th of February to play the game!

We're currently expecting that the file size of Horizon Forbidden West will be bigger than the Horizon Zero Dawn.

The base game of Horizon Zero Dawn is around 45 GB, and we initially expected that Horizon Forbidden West in PS4 will be at 65 GB, as they have included new machines, new weapons, and underwater explorations.
Upon preloading Horizon Forbidden West, the application size is listed at 75.274 GB.

The file size might go around 85 GB or higher for the PS5, as it has better graphics than the PS4, and there are features exclusive to PS5 only. Also, games available on the PS5 are around that size, and it may be the same for this game.
