Official Announcement Trailer

The announcement trailer re-introduces us to Aloy, who embarks on another adventure to the lands of the Forbidden West. Elements of the story are shown, where a plague is ravaging the world, and Aloy must find a way to stop it from spreading. There is also a scene with Sylens, a returning character from Horizon Zero Dawn and a potential main villain this time around.

Official Gameplay Trailer

Officially released in State of Play, this trailer gives us a preview of Horizon Forbidden West's Gameplay. There's also additional information about the new weapons and tools that Aloy can use for combat and exploration.

Official Story Trailer

In the story trailer, we get a clearer idea of the plot and the dangers that lie ahead in Horizon Forbidden West. We see Aloy and her allies struggling to against warring tribes now armed with deadly Machines thanks to Sylens' actions.

Along with familiar faces, new ones are also introduced in this trailer. The clip closes with a short preview of a character named Tilda who, seemingly, is on Aloy's side although not much is known about this character at this time.

New Threats Trailer

This trailer gives us a short preview of the game's combat, alongside new enemies, armor, and tools that you can use.

Machines of the Forbidden West Trailer

This trailer shows some of the new machines that Aloy will face in her upcoming journey, which includes the Clawstrider, Tremortusk, Slitherfang, Sunwing, and the Tideripper.

Challenges of the Forbidden West Trailer

In the Challenges of the Forbidden West, we get a glimpse of new content and activities to explore, different communities and cultures to engage with, as well as new equipment and armor.

Cinematic Trailer

In the latest cinematic trailer, we find Aloy reflecting on lessons from her mentor while showcasing different locations and machines found in the Forbidden West.

Along with the familiar words of wisdom from Rost, we catch a glimpse of what could potentially be a new feature.
