How to Unlock Signals of the Sun and Location
Talk to Maleev
The starting point for the Errand is just north of the Barren Light settlement. There, you will find a soldier dragging a body along the ground – interact with them to trigger the Errand. Note, however, that the Errand can only be begun if players have completed the Main Quest To The Brink.

| 1 |  Climb to the Top of the CliffAs soon as you finish talking with Maleev, look up to a cliff near the area. |
| 2 |  Defeat the EnemiesAt the top of the cliff, players will encounter several Machines that need to be defeated in order to progress through the quest. This Machine encounter mostly consist of Scrounger and Burrower enemies, which are fairly easy to defeat. |
| 3 |  Talk to RaynahAfter defeating the Machines, talk to the Oseram at the top of the boulder called Raynah. |
| 4 |  Retrieve the LensesClimb the signal tower nearby – get the lenses from a signal dish at the top, and return them to Raynah to finish the quest. |
Tips and Strategies
Take on the Enemies One by One
When you climb to the top of the cliff, you'll encounter several Machines roaming. It is highly suggested to deal with these Machines one by one through stealth.
In instances where stealth fails, a useful tactic to dealing with multiple agressive enemies at once is to bait them all into attacking simultaneously before rolling out of the way of attacks. Otherwise, an arrow to the humps on their back plus to their eye socket will allow you to cause massive damage against them.
