How to Unlock The Taste of Victory and Location

Talk to Rukka

After the Main Quest The Eye of the Earth, you be placed perched on top of a cliff-like structure. If you look to the bottom left, you'll find a tightrope you can use to descene down into the valley below – walk up to the tightrope, which you'll find is in front of a small camp, where you'll find Rukka to begin the Errand.

How to Complete

	Objectives
1	Talk to Pentalla at Salt Bite Salt Bite is one of the northernmost settlements on the map. It is highly suggested that players take a Mount there or Fast Travel to close Bonfire if they have not unlocked the area yet. Once in the area, talk with Pentalla.
2	Gather 5 Bird Eggs Defeat the Widemaw and Glinthawks The first task that players will find themselves doing is gathering 5 Bird Eggs. These are easy enough to gather at the small island that the quest gives you. However, these eggs will be guarded by a Widemaw and a Glinthawk that first must be defeated in order to gather the eggs without threat.
3	Gather 6 Bird Meat After gathering the eggs, players will have to gather Bird Meat from any bird they can find. At the marker that the quest provides, birds will populate the area to a healthy degree, allowing you to shoow arrows into each bird to collect their meat.
4	Deliver the Ingredients to Pentalla Return to Pentalla and give the ingredients to finish the Errand.

Tips and Strategies

Defeat the Widemaw First

When gathering the Bird Eggs, players will find it easier to first defeat the Widemaw guarding the area first. This is to allow you a bigger environment to work with when – and eventually – one of the Glinthawks spot you and give battle.

The Widemaw may be difficult to defeat, but do have large weak points on its back, belly, and inside its mouth when it opens its jaws to try and suck you in.

Use Focus to Find Birds

Birds are rather difficult to spot without assistance – from a distance, use your Focus to highlight each bird that is in your area. Tag each one before shooting arrows at them to gather their meat.
