POSEIDON, AETHER, and DEMETER

Horizon Forbidden West - The Eyes of the Earth - Examine Console.jpg

After reaching the base where MINERVA and GAIA are located in the Main Quest The Eye of the Earth, you are given the option to search for GAIA's three subprograms: POSEIDON, AETHER, and DEMETER.

Subprogram Gained Required Main Quest
AETHER Complete The Broken Sky
POSEIDON Complete The Sea of Sands
DEMETER Complete Seeds of the Past

Which Subprogram Should You Get First?

Completing Sea of Sands Gets You the Diving Mask

DivingMask Large.jpeg

The Diving Mask allows you to breathe underwater, opening up more explorable areas and making Quests and other challenges that place underwater much easier. Because of this, it is recommended that you acquire the POSEIDON subprogram as soon as possible.
