Objectives | |
---|---|
1 | Get an Energy Cell or Head to the Mountaintop Although it is posted as an optional task, it is recommended that players get a Energy Cell from the Horus that the quest points to. You can then drop this cell over the next objective's area in order to immobilize the Machines, which you'll have to otherwise fight the normal way without the cell. |
2 | Defeat the Machines Once you use the Energy Cell, most of the Machines in the clearing below will be immobilized. Land and pick them off – without the Energy Cell, you'll have to destroy them the normal way. |
3 | Defeat the Dreadwing After defeating the regular Machines, a Dreadwing will come after you. You must destroy this as well to progress. |
4 | Find the Greenshine After defeating the Dreadwing, you'll be pointed towards a small cave blocked by Metal Flowers. The node to interact with that will get rid of the flowers is on top of the rock. Collect the Greenshine Slab to end the Errand. |
When you land in the area for the Greenshine, you'll come across two Clamberjaws, two Widemaws, and two Longlegs. If you had picked up the optional Horus Energy Cell and dropped it into the area, these Machines will be immobilized with enough time to spare for you to land and knock two or three of these Machines out.
If you hadn't picked up the Energy Cell however, you can still immobilize them for quick kills by using Shock Arrows.
After defeating the Machines, a single Dreadwing will come to act as the "boss battle" of this Errand. Make use of Vertical Shock Traps to immobilize the machine and cause it to crash to the ground, leaving it open for Critical Strikes. You can repeat this process until the machine is destroyed.
