Horizon Forbidden West is a direct sequel to Horizon Zero Dawn, involving characters from the previous entry and continuing the plot 6 months after the events of the last game.
Is Horizon Forbidden West a Sequel?
Horizon Forbidden West will feature some familiar names and characters from the previous game such as Aloy (Ashly Burch), Sylens (Lance Reddick), Erend (John Hopkins), and Talana Khane Padish (Freya Parker).
At present, it has not been confirmed if any other characters from Horizon Zero Dawn will make an appearance.
