ELEUTHIA Profile and Backstory
Personality
ELEUTHIA is presented as having no hostility toward humans whatsoever. This is particularly noticeable when Aloy retrieves it and offers to bring it home to GAIA.
Horizon Zero Dawn
ELEUTHIA was the second to last subordinate function to be deployed, as it was responsible for re-populating humanity on Earth. Assisted by robotic servitors, ELEUTHIA would grow human embryos through artificial wombs and nourish them through their toddler years. Unfortunately APOLLO's destruction by Ted Faro resulted in humans being released into the wild as teenagers uneducated in the knowledge of their predeccessors, causing them to fragment into primitive tribes.
Horizon Forbidden West
When HADES was infected by the Mysterious Signal, GAIA destroyed herself to prevent it from taking over. During this period, a deranged and semi-conscious ELEUTHIA fled to a processor somewhere in the world. Although its function had been fulfilled, it still exists as an empty shell. Its current location is unkown, even to GAIA.

ELEUTHIA has the capacity to create and maintain human life on Earth. Its collection of human DNA, artificial wombs, and early education data made it for possible for the current human population to be created and continue to exist.
