Faro's Tomb Walkthrough

| 1 |  ・Go to Fall's Edge ・Find Alva ・Investigate the Quen Outpost ・Examine the Boat ・Go to Legacy's Landfall For the first part of the Quest, simply continuing along with the quest markers will get you where you need to go. |
| 2 |  ・Kill the Thunderjaw Defeat the Thunderjaw. Use the nearby building as an obstacle throughout the fight to prevent the Thunderjaw from getting too close. Try to avoid being detected at first to start off in an optimal position. |
| 3 |  ・Go to Thebes ・Talk to Alva ・Find an Entrance to Thebes Go into the water, swim ahead along the path, and pass through the crack. Go through the first turbine when it is stopped. |
| 4 |  In the next room, go on the left side near the door where the turbine is visible and interact with the switch to disable the turbine. Pass through once it's stopped. |
| 5 |  Go right after passing through the second turbine and swim up the slope to the surface of the water. |
| 6 |  ・Open the Main Door ・Search Thebes for Omega Clearance ・Kill the Corruptors Go through the door and continue ahead until you reach the main door. After letting the Ceo in, continue ahead until you fight two Corruptors. |
| 7 |  ・Scan the Device ・Recover Ted Faro's Omega Clearance In the room with the locked door, look up and to the right of the door to find a vent you can open with the Pullcaster. In the next room, use the terminal. |
| 8 |  ・Kill the Bodyguards ・Escape Thebes After the cutscene, fight the bodyguards. After defeating them, you'll be able to escape. Platform your way through multiple floors and rooms filled with lava and flames while dodging soldiers to escape, completing the Quest. Try to knock the bodyguards and soldiers into the lava and flames while escaping to deal damage and inflict them with Fire. |
Tips and Strategies
Use Obstacles to Your Advantage
The Thunderjaw's arsenal of ranged attacks have plenty of bells and whistles, but it's in the melee department where it really and literally stomps. Even if you try to get away, the Thunderjaw is both faster and bigger than you. You'll have a much harder time handling it if you attempt battle in the open desert instead of using the nearby building for protection.
Although it's true that the Thunderjaw can tear through walls like paper, a lot of the time, it simply won't. It will often use its basic laser attacks which can't penetrate the walls, allowing you to kite it effectively. Keep Acid inflicted on it throughout the fight and Concentrate on its forehead, a constantly vulnerable weak spot. Note that Acid doesn't increase damage to already-vulnerable weak spots, but it will gradually inflict damage over time.
Run Away from the Corruptors
You will have allies you can depend on to help you against the Corruptors. They have heavy weapons that will deal tons of damage against the 2 Corruptors. Just focus on running away from them to save resources. Also, you can try to get the last shot on them to earn more XP.
Collect All the Loot
Since the area will not be available afterwards, it's better to explore every room and corner of the place to get valuable resources and craftable materials. You can use your Focus to find and get them easily.
