How to Unlock Burden of Command and Location

Can Be Started in Scalding Spear

Players must have completed the Side Quest The Gate of the Vanquished first before they can trigger this Errand. Whoever you side with in that quest will be who gives the player this Errand.

If starting this Errand directly after The Gate of the Vanquished, you must allow for several hours to pass before you can talk with the survivor for the Errand – you can do this by sitting at a Shelter and choosing to change time for several hours.

Tips and Strategies

Use Acid Arrows

Horizon Forbidden West - Use Acid Arrows
Both Machines that come after you are very strong and incredibly difficult to deal with. Thankfully, both Machines are weak against Acid – use Acid Arrows, or any other munition you may have that deals Acid Damage, to quickly Tear off components from both Machines.

Use the Thunderjaw's Disc Launcher

Horizon Forbidden West - Use the Thunderjaw
When the Stormbird comes, it is best to take care of the Thunderjaw as quickly as possible. Before completely destroying it however, make sure to Tear off the Disc Launcher it has to provide yourself with a Heavy Weapon. Make use of this weapon on the Stormbird then to quickly end its life.
