Cauldron IOTA List of Objectives

Objectives
1 Find a Different EntranceFind a Different Entrance
From the large door in the ground, head west on the map to find a crevice with the entrance to the cauldron.
2 Override the DoorOverride the Door
Drop down and hug the left wall to reach a door. Override it and continue.
3 Defeat the LeaplashersDefeat the Leaplashers
Pass through the door and turn left. Defeat the Leaplashers to proceed.
4 Cross the GapCross the Gap
Double tap the X button to use the Pullcaster and cross to the other side of the gap. Defeat the Scrounger and Clawstrider on the other side.
5 Override the Node and Climb UpOverride the Node and Climb Up
In the back right corner of the room will be an override node. Activate it and climb up the vent, hopping to the right when you reach the top.
6 Climb Across the ForgesClimb Across the Forges
Once you reach the top, you'll need to jump over to the forge and climb across heading to the left. Wait for the climb points to align to cross.
7 Override the Door and ProceedOverride the Door and Proceed
After crossing the forge, you will reach another override door. Continue through it to fight a Spikesnout and a pair of Apex Burrowers.
8 Climb Up the Next VentClimb Up the Next Vent
At the opposite end of the room from where you entered is another climbable vent. Wait for the correct timing to climb up.
9 Rappel Down and Override the NodeRappel Down and Override the Node
After climbing the vent, override another door and rappel down. Override the node to continue.
10 Defeat the RollerbackDefeat the Rollerback
Overriding the node will initiate a boss fight with a Rollerback. Defeat it to proceed.
11 Override the Cauldron CoreOverride the Cauldron Core
After defeating the Rollerback, override the cauldron core to receive the IOTA Overrides.
12 Search for a Way OutSearch for a Way Out
Drop down from the platform. Climb halfway down the pillar to find another override door. Continue through it.
13 Jump Across the Moving BeamsJump Across the Moving Beams
Time your jumps and cross the gap. Defeat the Burrower in the next room.
14 Activate the BridgeActivate the Bridge
After dealing with the Burrower, climb up and activate the Node to cross the bridge.
15 Climb the VentsClimb the Vents
Climb up and to the right, then jump across to the two sets of vents. Climb halfway up and jump to the left.
16 Jump Across the Moving BlocksJump Across the Moving Blocks
Grab onto the first set of moving blocks and ride it until you are near the top of the room. Quickly proceed to the left. On the last set of blocks, ride them to near the top and climb left onto the platform.
17 Defeat the Scroungers and BurrowersDefeat the Scroungers and Burrowers
Rappel down and defeat the enemies. Break the partially broken glass panel and grab some extra loot.
18 Reach the TallneckReach the Tallneck's Head
Near the broken glass panel door is a grapple point. Double tap X to pull yourself up, then ride the platform across and drop to the beam. Walk over and clear the debris from the Tallneck's head.
19 Follow the TallneckFollow the Tallneck
The Tallneck head will start moving. To avoid falling into the electrified pit below, it's recommended to jump off to the left side before defeating the enemies.
20 Climb Up to the Next Override DoorClimb Up to the Next Override Door
After defeating the enemies climb up another vent. Proceed upwards and follow the path to the next override door.
21 Override the TallneckOverride the Tallneck
Zipline across and climb onto the Tallneck to override it to complete this cauldron.

  • Bellowback - Requires Crafting: 2 Bellowback Sac Webbing, 1 Bellowback Primary Nerve
  • Ravager - Requires Crafting: 1 Ravager Circulator, 1 Ravager Primary Nerve
  • Snapmaw - Requires Crafting: 2 Snapmaw Sac Webbings, 1 Snapmaw Primary Nerve
  • Rollerback - Requires Crafting: 2 Rollerback Hammer Tail, 1 Rollerback Primary Nerve

Note: Some Machine Overrides Must be Crafted at the Fabrication Terminal in the Base. Apex variants of Machines cannot be overriden.
