| Description | With the Sky Clan's challengers on their way, the Kulrut is ready to begin. To claim AETHER, Aloy must ensure the competition succeeds. |

The Kulrut Walkthrough
| Objectives | |

| 1 |  ・Go to the Memorial Grove ・Talk to Hekarro Fast travel to a Campfire near the objective. Head to the Arena, located behind the Throne Room. After talking to Hekarro, don't forget to take the Tenakth Marshal Armor from the chest. |
| 2 |  ・Go to the North Barricade ・Talk to Dekka There will be a soldier blocking the path you came through, so you can't go back this way. Go clockwise around the Arena until you reach the North side, where you'll find an opening you can proceed through. Climb the ladder to your left to proceed. |
| 3 |  ・Kill the Machines Take out the enemies in the caged area. As the Ravagers can fire volleys of ammunition at you, it's best to take them out first. |
| 4 | ・Kill the Slitherfang Defeat the Slitherfang in the Arena. Use Frost Bombs and Frost Arrows to freeze it. |
| 5 |  ・Find Hekarro ・Recover AETHER ・Talk to Dekka There will be fighting soldiers around, but you can ignore them and head towards the Throne Room. Behind the Throne, you'll find a hole in the ground with a ladder down. Climb down and complete the override, then climb back up. |
| 6 |  ・Deliver AETHER to GAIA Fast Travel to the Base. Give AETHER to GAIA to complete the Quest. You'll unlock the Cradle of Echoes Quest, and all your uncompleted Quests will be temporarily locked. |
Tips and Strategies
Other Quests Temporarily Locked After Completion
After completing The Kulrut, you won't be able to access any other Quests besides the next Quest, Cradle of Echoes, until you have completed Cradle of Echoes.
If you are hoping to take on another Quest, it's best to go ahead and do that first before you finish the final step of The Kulrut.
Use Fire Repeaters
Don't hesitate to use the Fire Repeaters on the marching machines, as they will be enough to take down all of them. You can shoot down the Ravagers first to avoid getting shot from afar. You can find them if you walk on the other parts of the wall.
Shoot the Log Stockpile using Fire Repeaters
Shooting the lock on the logs can cause them to go down, damaging and killing anyone who gets hit by them. It is useful, especially if you're playing on Normal or higher difficulties.
Go for Headshots
If you decide to fight the remaining rebels while you're on your way to Hekarro, you can shoot them in the head to deal increased damage. A single Precision Arrow should be enough to take them out, but you need a couple more if you're using Hunter Arrows.
