Petra Profile and Backstory

Personality

Petra is shown to be generally easy going especially to her allies. She carries herself confidently and has been implied as being attracted to Aloy. She is shown to be less patient with people she doesn't consider friends, often losing her temper for the most trivial reasons.

Horizon Zero Dawn

Aloy first encountered Petra at the settlement of Free Heap, where the tinker sought to build a life for herself outside the hard-headed rules and misogynistic customs of the Oseram homeland.

Horizon Forbidden West

Always one to seek out new challenges, Petra moved to the frontier settlement in the Daunt, near the infamous Forbidden West. Aloy meets her again when she arrives at the gates of Chainscrape.

Skills and Abilities

Oseram Tinker

Petra is a highly skilled inventor. Back in Meridian, she was part of the group responsible for making the elevators. Later on during the Battle of the Alight, it was thanks to cannons of her making that Aloy and her allies were able to defend the Carja capital.
