This guide will show you how to complete the Broken Locks, an Errand in Horizon Forbidden West (HFW). Read on to learn the quest objectives, strategies, location, and rewards for the Broken Locks Errand.

In order to trigger this Errand, players will need to have finished the Side Quest Breaking Even and have retrieved Porguf's Lockbox in the same quest. Afterwards, return to Camp Nowhere and Porguf can be talked to for the Errand.

| 1 |  Retrieve Porguf's LockboxBefore you are able to start the Errand, players will need to retrieve Porguf's Lockbox in the fight area against the Rockbreaker encountered in Break Even. Otherwise, players will not be able to begin the Errand. Once the Lockbox has been retrieved, speak with Porguf in Camp Nowhere. |
| 2 |  Talk to PetraThe first objective you'll get after talking to Porguf is to talk to Petra in the Chainscrape settlement. When choosing dialogue options, ask about Marsa. |
| 3 |  Head to the Signal TowerPlayers will then need to travel northeast of Chainscrape to talk to Petra at the Signal Tower. Talking to Petra will also end the Errand. |
During the Side Quest Break Even, make sure to grab Porguf's Lockbox in the area you fight the Rockbreaker in. This is so that you won't have to backtrack your way through the tunnel and to the fight area later on when trying to do this Errand.
