| Description | Aloy must attend a tense diplomatic meeting outside the Carja fortress of Barren Light. Her goal: petition the dangerous Tenkath tribe for right of passage into the Forbidden West. |

The Embassy Walkthrough
| Objectives | |

| 1 |  ・Override a Charger ・Mount an Overridden Charger ・Go to Barren Light Override a Charger and run to Barren Light. Overriding a Charger is optional, but you'll want to have an available mount in the long-term anyway, so this is a good opportunity. |
| 2 |  ・Talk to the Guards ・Follow Lawan ・Talk to Commander Nozar Continue through each of the dialogue steps to get out of Barren Light. |
| 3 |  ・Go to the Embassy Location ・Talk to the Tenakth Marshal ・Kill the Rebels Fight the rebels after the long cutscene and meeting the Tenakth Tribe warriors. You'll have to deal with Rebels shooting at you from the sidelines throughout the fight, so use your Focus to scan for their locations and pick them off early. |
| 4 |  ・Kill Regalla's Champion Defeat Grudda. Shoot his shield with Acid Arrows to temporarily disable it, leaving him vulnerable. |
| 5 |  ・Talk to Lawan You'll unlock the Shieldwing and complete the Quest. |
Tips and Strategies
Shoot Bristleback Acid Canisters with Acid Arrows
Cause an acid explosion and take out multiple enemy machines and humans by hitting the Acid Canisters of the Bristlebacks with Acid Arrows to deal Acid Damage. You can press the R3 button to slow down time and have more time to aim at them.
Learn Warrior Skills
The battles with the Rebels and Grudda will require direct combat, so you're best off mastering some melee skills for the battle. Consider the Resonator Blast and Block Breaker skills.
Aim for the Head
All the rebels don't have any helmets on except for Grudda. Shoot their heads with arrows to deal increased damage and take them out fast. Slowing down time will also help you hit their heads more accurately.
