Uthid Profile and Backstory

Personality

Uthid is shown to be very caring towards the less fortunate. Vanasha mentions to Aloy that he would feed orphans from his own rations and personally punished anyone who hurts the old or weak.

Horizon Zero Dawn

Once a loyal captain of the dissident Shadow Carja, Uthid soon discovered and exposed the corruption of its ruling priests and generals. In return, they put a price on his head. With help from Aloy, he was able to defeat his would-be assassins and escape to Meridian where he would be welcomed as a military advisor.

Horizon Forbidden West

Uthid appears briefly alongside Vanasha during The Point of the Lance Interlude. When Aloy and Varl arrive at Meridian to seek Sylens, Uthid will give a spear to Aloy in a cutscene. He now serves Sun-King Avad as a Senior Military Advisor.

Skills and Abilities

Carja General

As a Carja General, Uthid is a highly skilled warrior. He once single-handedly held off an entire bandit clan in The Greenclimb. During the Battle of the Alight, he was able to successfully defend the city of Meridian.
