What does Shock Damage Do?

Shock Damage refers to damage when an enemy is temporarily stunned creating a window of opportunity for more critical shots. A machine afflicted with Shock Damage will have electricity discharging from it. This will display a gauge on the machine. When this expires, the machine will be able to move freely again.

How to Effectively Use Shock Damage

Scan for Enemy Weakness

Several enemy machines will be vulnerable to Shock Damage, and knowing which enemies are weak against which elements is the key to survival. Whenever you approach a new enemy, be sure to scan them before engaging in combat. This will give you the info you need to put yourself at an advantage.

Aim at Sparkers and Power Cells

Use Shock Arrows when aiming at Sparkers and Power Cells to trigger Chain Reactions. Alternatively, you can shoot an enemy directly if it is vulnerable to Shock damage. Once the enemy is stunned, you can now land a barrage of attacks to finish it off.
