How to Unlock The Enduring and Location
Talk to the Pit Master in Chainscrape
You can easily begin this Errand when you get to the settlement Chainscrape. Upon arrival, talk to the Pit Master in Chainscrape's Melee Pit to begin the Errand.

| 1 |  Earn All Tenakth Melee Pit MarksIn order to fight the Enduring, players will need to defeat three Pit Masters scattered around the world to earn their "Marks". These Pit Masters can be fought in Pit Master Challenges in Melee Pits that are found in Scalding Spear, The Bulwark, and Thornmarsh. |
| 2 |  Earn the Desert Clan's MarkTo get this Mark, you will need to talk to the Pit Master, Lirrokeh, in Scalding Spear. Progress through the Challenges in the Melee Pit until you can fight Lirrokeh in the Pit Master Challenge. |
| 3 |  Earn Sky Clan's MarkFor this Mark, fight through the Melee Pit challenges until you can challenge the Pit Masters of The Bulwark, Erayyo and Virakk. |
| 4 |  Earn the Lowland Clan's MarkThe last Mark can be earned by finishing the Melee Pit, as well as the Pit Master Challenge, in Thornmarsh against Tenallo. |
| 5 |  Defeat The EnduringWith all three Marks, players will now need to travel northeast of Scalding Spear to where The Enduring is in. Once there, interact with her sleeping form and then follow her towards the pit, where you can fight. Defeating her finishes the Errand. |
All Melee Pit Challenges
Defeat the Pit Masters
Prior to getting any of the required Clan Marks needed to challenge The Enduring, Aloy will need to defeat each available challenge in all three Melee Pits scattered around the world. These challenges are fairly straightforward, with players only required to perform several moves that are only available by purchasing them from the Warrior Skill Tree.
Afterwards, they will have to defeat the Pit Masters to earn their Marks, which reveals the location of The Enduring.

Tips and Strategies
Progress Through Warrior Skill Tree
Each of the Melee Pit Challenges that you'll have to finish in order to get Marks from each Clan will require that players invest Skill Points in certain skills in the Warrior Skill Tree.
Without these skills, it will be impossible to finish the Errand at a low level, even if the difficulty is set to its lowest. These skills include:

- Halfmoon Slash
- Nora Warrior
- Energy Surge
- Jump-Off
- Spinning Scythe
- The Destroyer
- Block Breaker
- Resonator Blast
- Aerial Slash
