Vanasha Profile and Backstory

Personality

Vanasha is shown to be cunning and resolute. Her time as a Carja spy yielded wonders for Avad as they were overthrowing Jiran, the Mad Sun-King. As a former slave in Sunfall, she was determined to put a halt to Jiran and his empire's evil deeds.

Horizon Zero Dawn

Vanasha met Aloy while she was working undercover behind enemy lines in Sunfall, the Shadow Carja capital. Thanks to Aloy's assistance, Vanasha was able to return the hostage Dowager Queen Nasadi and her son, Prince Itamen, to the safety of Meridian.

Horizon Forbidden West

Vanasha appears briefly alongside Uthid during The Point of the Lance Interlude. When Aloy and Varl arrive at Meridian to seek Sylens, Vanasha will give a headgear to Aloy in a cutscene. She is currently in charge of protecting both Dowager Queen Nasadi and her son Prince Itamen, sometimes as a personal bodyguard and occasionally as Itamen's nanny.

Skills and Abilities

Carja Spy

Vanasha is an extremely proficient spy. During her time undercover in Meridian she was able to venture deep in the Shadow Carja to rescue Uthid from certain death.
