Hekarro Profile and Backstory

Personality

As the Head Chief of the Tenakth Hekarro is viewed as very kind and wise, traits that are ideal for a leader. His tall muscular stature and previous combat experience also make him an intimidating force, something he uses to his advantage when negotiating with others. This can be seen when he first meets Aloy.

Horizon Forbidden West

Hekarro is a strong Tenakth warrior and member of the Lowland Clan who seized control of the holy site, the Memorial Grove. Upon doing so Hekarro proposed and end to the constant fighting between the three tribes, and united them as one with him as the Head Chief. He also formed a treaty with the Sun-King of Carja.

One of Hekarro's High Marshals, Regalla, viewed the truce as a betrayal of the warlike nature of the Tenakth and attempted to kill Hekarro in retaliation. Although she lost the fight with Hekarro, he spared her and let her flee with her life. This proved to be a regrettable decision, as Regalla returned with her own army of Tenakth warriors, to end the rule of Hekarro.

Hekarro allows Aloy to access the Memorial Grove in order get the AETHER subprogram in exchange for helping him fight off Regalla. She agrees and helps Hekarro fend off Regalla's attack on the Memorial Grove twice, maintaining order among the Tenakth.

Hekarro's Skills and Abilities

Skilled Warrior

Hekarro is known as one of the strongest warriors in Tenakth History, and was a able to singlehandedly defeat Regalla. Although a little older at the time of Forbidden West, he is still shown to be quite a formmidable opponent.

Great Leader

Hekarro possesses the leadership qualities necessary to unite the Tenakth as well as form a truce with the Tenakth's main enemy, Carja. Although Regalla and her army opposes his rule, most of the Tenakth hold Hekarro in high regard.
