Chapter 22: Beginning of the Battle
Veyle first appears after the battle of Chapter 4: A Land in Bloom, but is recruited on Chapter 22: The Fell and the Divine. She joins Alear and the rest of your party at the beginning of the battle

With high growth rates in Mag, and an S-Tier proficiency with Tomes, it makes sense to inherit skills such as Tome Precision 5 and Resonance + to push Veyle's offense even further.
Veyle's personal skill is essentially a backline version of Divinely Inspiring. However, due to her relatively low defensive stats, she is best played from behind allied units. Quality Time+ combined with Draconic Hex serves to bolster allies and weaken foes simultaneously.

Corrin amplifies Veyle's supportive capabilities with terrain alterations that Veyle can select. Additionally, Corrin's Quality Time gains a range increase due to Veyle's Dragon unit type. This pairs nicely with her personal skill Fell Protection, since both skills have similar triggering methods.
By equipping Celica, Veyle becomes a magic user that deals respectable amounts of damage thanks to her Magic + skills, Tome Precision, and Resonance.
Micaiah provides Veyle with the potential to branch further into the support role with Augment and Healing Light. Also available are generally useful skills like Status Ward and Res +.

After clearing Chapter 22, players unlock The Connector Paralogue and can subsequently unlock the Pact Ring. This essentially acts as Fire Emblem Engage's S-Rank Support and romance route.
Alear can then give the ring to Veyle once they have attained an A-Rank in support to view a special cutscene, and unlock a page in the reference about the life they lived together.
Veyle's Memento
The beautiful stone Veyle gave me. Similar to dragonstone, it is a precious talisman and a promise that we'll never lose each other again.
Apart from obtaining an exclusive ending with Veyle after giving the Pact Ring, players can also head to Alear's room and check the small table next to their bed to find a memento from her.
While the memento serves no purpose in combat whatsoever unlike the Merc Whistle in Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes, it further contextualizes the paired ending selected by the player.

Agree with 9 Anonymous, Veyle with Soren ( double critical chance for dragon ) + Engrave +30 critical on the S rank tome ( weapon which hit twice and 1-2 range ) is the absolute number 1 damage dealer while engage, it doesn't matter if the opponent have high resistance she will always kill everything in 1 turn with 2 attack at 100+ critical chance while getting heal by Soren's lifesteal, i tried all the critical specialist and none can reach her potential but without Soren she is decent not op.
