Launch Trailer

To commemorate the launch of Fire Emblem Engage, Nintendo released a 2-min trailer (mostly consisting of cinematics) that gives a glimpse of what players can expect from the latest installment.

Somniel Home Base Gameplay Video

This overview trailer explores the Somniel, your base of operations in between battles. At the Somniel, you can train your units for battle, stock up on weapons and items, manage your skills and Emblem Characters, and interact with the people and animals you've met on your journey for potential stat increases.

Wave 1 Expansion Pass Trailer

On December 9, 2022, the first paid DLC for Fire Emblem Engage was announced in the form of the Wave 1 Expansion Pass. The pass includes additional accessories and maps, as well as new Emblem Characters, such as Edelgard, Dimitri, Claude, and Tiki. The expansion pass will be available immediately on launch.

Additionally, it was revealed that three more Expansion Pass waves will launch later in 2023.

Emblem Rings Gameplay Video

This gameplay trailer gives an overview on how to use Emblem Rings to summon heroes of ages past, such as Marth, Sigurd, and Celica. Engaging with the emblems temporarily gives your unit increased power and special attacks, skills, and weapons. The trailer also dives into the unique abilities unlocked by each emblem and their corresponding character.

Divine Dragon Story Trailer

The first full story trailer for Fire Emblem Engage centers on Alear, the successor to the Divine Dragon who awakened after a thousand years to face off against the Fell Dragon. The trailer introduces us to the supporting cast and the different Kingdoms that Alear visits in the game. It even teases an evil red-haired Marth.

Announcement Trailer

On September 13, 2022, the new installment in the Fire Emblem series was announced to have the launch date of January 20, 2023. The announcement trailer for Fire Emblem Engage revealed the plot to be set in Elyos, where new heroes will fight alongside previous protagonists of the series to defeat the Fell Dragon.

The trailer revealed that classic Fire Emblem characters like Marth and Sigurd could be summoned with items known as Emblem Rings.
