In Fire Emblem Engage, players may improve the effects of cooking by adding toppings. Read on to learn how to be better at cooking and how to acquire Bentos in the process to heal in battle.
List of Contents
When ordering a meal, you select the dish, as well as if extra ingredients and toppings go in it. Adding a Topping to your dish has the chance to increase the buffs given to your units.
Cooking meals provide different effects such as buffing allies for the next battle and increasing Support Levels. Each dish has different ingredients requirement and gives different stat boosts in the next battle.
▶︎ All Characters and Playable Units
At the Cafe Terrace at the Somniel, you can Order a Meal from whoever is behind the counter and share food with your allies. You can only choose two friends at a time to eat with Alear. After dining with these two units, their Support Levels are raised.
You can only order a meal once after every battle.
▶︎ Somniel Minigames and Things to Do
|
Different dishes provide different stat buffs to units in the next battle they're deployed in. Each unit has preferred meals, so try the different meals available to you to find the best meal for them.
Sharing meals with your allies will increase Support Levels, making them stronger when out in the field. Choose a dish which your allies would like!
If the dish is cooked well, you can receive a bento of the leftovers afterwards. Using a bento in a battle will heal your HP.
If you do not consume the bento in your next battle, you will be told that the leftovers were thrown away because it wasn't consumed during battle, the next time you visit the Cafe Terrace.
Each unit has their own preferred meals, so there isn't an objectively best meal. Try to match their liked dishes with what the chef can cook well (denoted with a sparkle icon) to further increase their Support Levels!
► Somniel Minigames and Things to Do
The leftovers can be sold at shops for 50g so if you don’t consume them in battle you can sell them before cooking again so it doesn’t go to waste.
