Unit may recover HP=50% damage dealt. Trigger %=Dex.

Foes do not block this unit's movement.

As much as possible it's best to use character-exclusive classes or special classes when deploying units. These units have unique skills that prove to be useful on many occasions, like the Successeur's Sol skill.

Use Classess Depending on Chosen Units

Each unit will also have classes that will naturally be better for them which can affect the best units you can actually deploy on your playthrough. There are also some units that have clear classes that are better for them than their given starter class with the most obvious one being Anna who has the highest magic scaling in the game but starts as an Axe Fighter.

How to Promote Classes

Get to Level 10 and Use a Master Seal

Fire Emblem Engage Reclassing

Characters will only be able to promote their class to a higher tier by reaching level 10. One Master Seal is needed to promote a class to its higher tier. Master Seals can be bought from vendors, found in item chests or dropped by enemies.

How to Change Classes

Use a Second Seal

Fire Emblem Engage - Build Increase Class Change.png

Every time a character changes classes, it consumes a Second Seal. Second Seals can be found in chests, enemy drops, and bought in the marketplace.

Take note that characters can only change to classes that have the same proficiencies.
