Martial Master
Hortensia |
Several enemies will be using Freeze on your units preventing them from escaping the projectiles that appear on this stage. You can use warp to reposition your allies or remove status ailments using restore. Hortensia in particular is extremely effective on this map due to her having access to +1 range on staves which makes rescuing units on the center of Volcanic Bombs easier. |
General | Another Alternative for repositioning albeit in a smaller scale. Generals can use reposition to fling an ally unit to this unit's opposite side. Useful for protecting fellow front line units from danger. |
Dancer | A great unit overall but the Dancer's ability to give extra turns allow you to easily reposition units with ease. |
Griffin Knight | There are several tiles that only fliers can traverse on this map as well as enemies that you want to get rid of immediately. Having units that can easily reach other platforms on the map area ideal but do be prepared and position accordingly against anti fliers! |
Lyn | Lyn allows you to eliminate threats such as the staff users that use Freeze on your units while hiding behind boulders. Prioritize taking these units out so you don't encounter issues with dodging the Volcanic Bombs. |
Objective | |
---|---|
NOTE | Make sure to bring staves such as Warp and Restore to make repositioning in the fight easier. Zepha and Griss will launch Volcanic Bombs at your team which can deal a huge amount of damage. Make sure to avoid these attacks! |
1 | Immediately use Lyn's Emblem and all your other ranged attacks to eliminate as much of the freeze using units Make sure to take out these units first as they will cause your units to be unable to move making them vulnerable to Volcanic Bomb. |
2 | You'll want to continue with your current team's location. Make your two teams each advance north. This will cause the bombs to be directed to two areas instead of one making them easier to dodge. |
3 | Have your fliers stay on lava areas and attempt to play around their range There are several melee units on the map so having your fliers stand on unreachable tiles makes them unkillable. |
4 | Have your units slowly regroup on each of the right and south entrance of Zephia and Griss' location |
5 | Have both teams approach their area simultaneously. Unlike previous stages, both Griss and Zephia will attack your party if attacked from afar so its better to launch an all out offensive instead of luring both bosses to half your team. |
6 | Use all your emblem attack to eventually defeat the two remaining hounds. Take note that Zepha is a flier so focus her with anti flier attacks to make quick work of her. If you have a strong archer, using Seadall to make that unit attack twice is often enough to destroy one or two revival stones for Zephia. |
7 | Griss is a magic user so make sure to not have your low RES unit stay near him. |
8 | Defeating both will also destroy the crystal, clearing the stage. |
Volcanic bombs are attacks on this stage that will severely damage your units if it hits you. Use repositioning skills to save allies that have already acted in the vicinity. Alternatively, you can use status ailment restoration such as restore to remove freeze from your units to allow them to escape.
These bombs are not always disadvantageous, you can wait for these bombs to attack areas with boulders to clear them. This makes it easier for your units to navigate the map (albeit the same way for enemies).
Lava are flier only tiles so make sure to use this to your advantage. There are several melee units in this map so flying around and picking out lone enemies will make the whole stage easier. If you can equip Sigrid to these fliers then it will also allow them to escape after launching their own attack which makes them near invincible.
