You can earn valuable rewards for donating gold to the kingdoms of Elyos in Fire Emblem Engage. Learn how to donate and level up different kingdoms.

You can donate gold to each country to increase your exploration bonuses on stages within that region! It requires a hefty amount of gold however but the bonuses are permanent and it can also increase the amount of gold and other materials during skirmishes which makes the spenditure worth it!

The effects and rewards for levelling up a kingdom are listed on the right side of the Donations menu. The effects primarily consist of increasing the encounter rate of rare enemies, resulting in you getting better rewards out of battle, and increasing the multiplier for amount of materials rewarded.
Additionally, levelling up a kingdom unlocks different kinds of animals that you can encounter in the Post Battles set in the kingdom. You can adopt these animals and bring them to the Farmyard at the Somniel.

In Cafe Terrace at the Somniel home base, interact with the Bulletin Board to open up a Donations menu. Through Donations, you can invest in the 4 Kingdoms of Elyos where your battles take place.
▶︎ Things to Do at the Somniel
You make your donation using Gold. Each kingdom will have a set gold limit that, once reached, will level up the kingdom and reward you with in-game items and effects. As of the released footage, it seems to take 5,000 Gold to advance a kingdom from Level 1 to Level 2 and 10,000 Gold from Level 2 to Level 3.

Awful system which wasn't balanced for maddening at all. I finished the game, barely refined most useful weapons, only brought necessary staffs and never brought any weapons and I barely have any gold. Anything beyond rank 1 donations is completely unavailable which means you will never get some exclusive weapons
