List of Contents
Panette |
Moved from C Tier to A Tier. Further play testing confirmed her damage output is high due to her high Strength and Dexterity scaling. |
Amber |
Moved from C Tier to B Tier. A very good unit to consider adding into your team as a replacement Cavalry unit. Great strength growth which makes him a solid unit to pick off targets from farther ranges with minimal help. |
Pandreo |
Moved from B Tier to A Tier. Pandreo has one of the best supporting skill while also being a strong healer at the start as well. The best healer unit you can get in the mid-stages of the game and possibly until the end of your playthrough too. |

Usability of character skills and unique classes Units for Normal and Hard Difficulty This is not the tier list for Maddening difficulty. The growth rates of units leveling up to Level 20 Effectivity in side activities such as the Tower of Trials |
The above units were used and evaluated on Normal and Hard difficulty. As such, rankings and evaluations may not line up when similarly tested on Maddening difficulty or Classic mode.
▶︎ Difficulty Level Differences and How to Change
Of course, the use and strengths of characters will vary per the wildly different circumstances and modes in the game. The above evaluations were based off general use and overall experience of the characters on Normal and Hard Difficulty.
Some characters may be more useful in side activities such as the Tower of Trials, individual skirmishes, or the DLC paralogues.
All characters have their specialties and are great in their own right. Who is your favorite character? Let us know in the poll below!
▶︎ Beginner's Guide to Fire Emblem Engage
No. The comments are for discussion. If you don't like it, you are likely in the wrong place. Also, you contributed nothing, but I will. Jean is amazing when built out as a warrior, a youtuber did a video on it and he becomes an absolute beastly tank with the highest health in the game. Switch him to a warrior at lvl 1, give him tiki's emblem from divine paralogue and watch him go beast mode. Again credit to that one random youtuber who I don't remember xD

Thank you! That's what I'm saying! Roll him as a warrior with tiki and watch him soar! He really reminds me of Donnel from awakening only more OP.
