BylethByleth MarthMarth SigurdSigurd

Pair Chloe with Sigurd to grant outstanding area coverage and movement, which will further expand Chloe's reach as a mounted class.

Marth is a great alternative since low SP is required to increase Chloe's strength. Marth should also help raise Chloe's evasion against enemy attacks and make up for her low Def.

Byleth not only grants Chloe his skills, but also allows her to boost ally stats, allow them to act again, or use his weapons against enemies she may be weak to.

Chloe Paired Ending and Romance

Pact Ring with Chloe

After clearing Chapter 22, players unlock The Connector Paralogue and can subsequently unlock the Pact Ring. This essentially acts as Fire Emblem Engage's S-Rank Support and romance route.

Alear can then give the ring to Chloe once they have attained an A-Rank in support to view a special cutscene, and unlock a page in the reference about the life they lived together.

Chloe's Memento

Chloe's favorite folk food. She brings me something new every day, and I never get tired of trying it.

Apart from obtaining an exclusive ending with Chloe after giving the Pact Ring, players can also head to Alear's room and check the small table next to their bed to find a memento from her.

While the memento serves no purpose in combat whatsoever unlike the Merc Whistle in Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes, it further contextualizes the paired ending selected by the player.

I generally baby my starter fliers in all the FE since they tend to be a great return on investment. I gave her the DLC Energy Drop, boots, and Draco Shield, then the first 2 Energy Drops. A lot of investment for sure so my milage was very skued, but it made the beginning and middle of Maddening a whole lot easier and she stayed relevant for the whole game using a +4 Killer Lance, as well as a +4 Flame Lance.

She has the 5th highest growth rate in magic of all units, highest spd, and 6th highest dex. She is the second best mage after Anna, I am surprised so few build her as a dedicated mage. Granted if you get Dire Thunder Citrinne is probably just a bit better but I see no reason not to run at least 3 mages in anny team comp, so I don't see why she is not recommended as a mage by this guide, or used as such by the community
