Completing Roy's paralogue increases his Bond Level cap from 10 to 20, opening up the option to learn new skills and gain the Binding Blade.

Once you reach Chapter 20: The Kingless Castle, The Binding Grounds becomes available on the world map and unlocks Paralogue: The Young Lion.

This chapter throws a lot of Wyvern Knights at your forces. They're also pretty fast, so it's best to exploit their weakness to Bows. |

Goddess Dance is always helpful for letting your units act again. Use it wisely to avoid getting surrounded by Wyvern Knights and to finish off Roy in a turn. |
 Lyn
|
Lyn can give your unit a Bow to snipe down Wyvern Knights and can deplete one of Roy's HP bars in one turn with Mulagir and Astra Storm. |
| Objective | |
|---|---|
| 1 | Move your units downward. Move your whole army as a group, taking down any Wyvern Knights headed your way. This route also avoids having to go through the Snipers and Armored units on the right side of the map. |
| 2 | Move right and defeat the Wyrm and approaching Wyvern Knights. Depending on the strength of your army, you may have to fall back. Place units with high Avo on the Thickets to weaken the Wyverns. |
| 3 | Attack the Sage carrying a Meteor tome. You don't have to kill the Sage, simply attacking it will cause Roy to start moving. This will also spawn more reinforcements, so prepare to finish Roy the next turn. |
| 4 | Defeat Roy with Engage Attacks. Roy can survive regular attacks and counter with his Binding Blade. If your Engage Attacks can't kill him in one shot, weaken him with your other units and then use them as a finisher. |
Roy is speedy, but he can't take many hits with his mediocre defenses. That's where his skill, Hold Out+++, compensates for it. It lets him survive with 1 HP when an attack would've beaten him.
Thankfully, this skill can be bypassed with Engage Attacks like Quadruple Attack or Astra Storm. Lure him out of his Protection Tile by attacking the Sage with Meteor first then unleash these powerful attacks to defeat Roy.
