You can purchase Gifts at the Flea Market using Gold. Gifts have infinite stock at the Flea Market, so you can buy as many as you want (especially if they are your unit's favorite gifts). Note that the gifts sold at the shop are generated randomly after every battle.
Additionally, materials such as Steel Ingots can also be bought at the Flea Market. Unlike gifts, these have limited stock.

After reaching certain chapters in the game, you'll be able to catch bigger fish with the Sturdy and Supreme Rods. These will increase your fishing attempts too, so they're worthwhile purchases!

The Flea market is unlocked in the Somniel after clearing Chapter 13 and unlocking Timerra as a playable character. After clearing Chapter 13, Timerra will open up a Flea Market in the Somniel.
The Flea Market is located in the east of the Somniel, to the right of the pool area.
