Agree with 9 Anonymous, Veyle with Soren ( double critical chance for dragon ) + Engrave +30 critical on the S rank tome ( weapon which hit twice and 1-2 range ) is the absolute number 1 damage dealer while engage, it doesn't matter if the opponent have high resistance she will always kill everything in 1 turn with 2 attack at 100+ critical chance while getting heal by Soren's lifesteal, i tried all the critical specialist and none can reach her potential but without Soren she is decent not op.

She is s tier when pairing with soren , otherwise A tier at best because of dragon type.

there is also the option of Soren. Long range draconic hex nerfing enemies with bolting, and up front tome tanking with Flare. All she needs is to be fed for a bit and she is just fine. Mine is currently speed capped and literally the only things that double her are above average griffin knights

Mizecorde + 4 =42 magic damage, + fire emblem engrave, avoid + 20, canter = dodge tank that doubles and can oneshot, Then you can choose between Corrin - hp, and op utility (it's really broken on dragons, you in fog your enemies burn and you immune to bacup damage). marth - even more avoid, Lucina - asist with poision. Tiki... oneshotting dragon for 4 turns. Lyn - allways double start first speedtaker.... Aand she is hight level.

compared to my ivy and my sage anna, vayle is really underwhelming, low speed to double and her unique class has pretty low stat caps for her to be "really" good

Look up her stats on serenes forest, on paper she is just a better sage. She has similar stats, but better by a few points in every stat besides resistance and their magic is the same though she gets a +3 in magic so she can end up having 51 magic. If you build her she will outclass any other Magic user you have and if you give her Miciah you can give her staffs as well.

Because that depends if you build the unit or not. I have some in C tier that are literally straight A's to me. My Veyle can also double now of course except the more faster classes, like she can't one shot a gryphon rider for one.

I don't know why Vayle is S-tier. She has really low speed and never doubles. Hortensia and ivy completely outscale her, and I think even Celine and semi-fast casters like that are better because at least she can double. Other than giving Corrin to Vayle for the elemental utility, why is she S-tier for? Her combat prowess is pretty average and she takes a lot of damage too - very frail. B-tier.
