Once you reach Chapter 7: Dark Emblem, the Bandit's Hideout becomes available on the world map and unlocks the Mysterious Merchant Paralogue.

Bring high movement units to reach the chests quickly. This will allow you to kill the Thieves before they escape and ensures Anna's safety. |

The map has several Armored units with low Res. Mystical units like Clanne and Celine should make quick work of them. |
 Marth
|
Anna's Paralogue has several Axe users, including Mitan. If you decide to take on the Paralogue once it's available, using Emblem Marth is a good way to add another Sword user to your team. His Rapier should also prove helpful in eliminating the Armored units. |
 Celica
|
Emblem Celica can use Warp Ragnarok, which bypasses all the walls in the map and lets you quickly reach targets in the middle. |
| Objective | |
|---|---|
| 1 | Balance your unit deployment. You'll only have 8 units for this chapter, and they'll be split across the map. Try to have at least one high movement unit and one Magic user on each side. |
| 2 | Prioritize the Thieves. Thieves will not actively attack your units but can counterattack. Their objective is to rush for the chests and then run away. Be warned that they can open the middle chest, exposing Anna to danger. |
| 3 | Advance toward the chests. Have your units take down any enemies along the way to the chests. Your army should eventually regroup and prepare for the final assault. |
| 4 | Talk to Anna with Alear. Depending on how fast you can get to the chests, Anna will either be in the chest or out fighting the bandits. Speak to Anna with Alear to recruit her. |
| 5 | Move upward to face Mitan. Most of the units in the room with Mitan have low Res. Blast them with Magic as you approach the Boss. |
| 6 | Defeat Mitan with Swords and ranged attacks. Mitan uses a Hand Axe and has a Revival Stone. Use Sword units to Break her to let your ranged units attack her without retaliation. |
Anna starts the chapter hiding in the middle chest. Whether one of your units or a Thief opens it, Anna will appear as an Ally Unit and start attacking nearby enemies. While she can hold out for a while, she'll easily be overwhelmed or even rush to the Boss if you don't stop her.
Talking to Anna with Alear or having them open the middle chest will let her join the group permanently. She'll also join if she survives the paralogue without Alear speaking to her. In fact, she'll still be recruited if you manage to leave her chest unopened!
