Lyn has the unparalleled ability to increase the survivability of glass-cannon characters. She can utilize their Spd to minimize the damage they take, or pick enemies off from a very large distance with Astra Storm.

Characters who find themselves surrounded by enemies can use Call Doubles to simultaneously draw enemy fire and trigger Chain Attacks. Alternatively, characters can engage with Lyn to access her weapon Manni Katti, granting bow-wielders a melee option.

Enemies that survive long enough to get close to your units will soon realize that she is just as deadly up-close.

Excellent for Alear, the Ai tends to target the doubles so generating an additional double can offer more survivability, Alear has decent strength to pair with Astra Storm and still gets higher range with it. Speedtaker and Alacrity for free leaving inherit slots for something else is icing on the cake. Id personally rather use Marth for a Swordsmaster than use him on Alear and Lyn offers all the advantages of Marth and then some so Alear who cant die is harder to kill with Lyn than Marth.
