Level Up Kingdoms in Donations

Donation Rewards

Try to raise the level of kingdoms via donations as much as you can because it increases the drop rate mulitplier for iron, steel, and silver ingots.

Do Not Skip Exploration

Ingot Exploration

It is recommended to fully explore the map after every battle. You can find ingots as sparkling items on the ground. Exploration is also where the donations' multiplier for its drop rate takes effect.

Adopt Dogs

Elyosian Dog

In Fire Emblem Engage, dogs truly are man's best friend because they are known to drop ingots in the Farmyard at the Somniel. With dogs adopted, you have a chance of finding ingots as sparkling items on the ground.

Exchange Common Ingots for Rare Ingots

Exchange Ingots

The Smithy in the Somniel can exchange ingots for for another type. This is particularly useful later in the game when you have amassed Iron and Steel Ingots but need the rarer Silver Ingots.

Participate in Relay Trials

Fire Emblem Engage Relay Trials

You can also obtain Ingots from Relay Trials after completing Chapter 11. You can only earn a small amount here but you will also get some other useful materials. You will need an active Nintendo Switch Online subscription for this mode.
