Byleth
Griffin Knight |
The final phase of the fight involves a huge amount of battling with Veyle. She'll primarily use Thoron which is a lightning attack so having the ability to increase everyone's RES will allow you to avoid accidental deaths. |
Micaiah | Micaiah together with Byleth's turn reset is highly valuable for the fight especially when attempting to take down the bosses of the stage (especially Veyle). You can attempt one round of attacks, heal everyone with Great Sacrifice, then attempt a second round of attack with Byleth's Goddess Dance for defeating Veyle in one turn. |
Lyn
Sniper |
You want an insanely long ranged attack to lure Zephia to make the fight easier. |
Objective | |
---|---|
1 | Immediately have all your except for your main armored unit to head to one side and eliminate all threats there Dragons can be slain by wyrmslayer or strong engage attacks like Eirika's Twin Strike. |
2 | Place one armored unit (preferably with Ike's Emblem) in front of your team. You want this unit to draw all the aggro of all the attackers on the enemy side. There are also no spell casters so they can easily survive the attacks. |
3 | Clean up your chosen side then provide reinforcement to your tank until you clear all the enemy on the starter area's front side. This does not include the area where Zephia and Griss are located! |
4 | Reinforcements will start spawning on both sides, eliminate the ones that spawn on your area then wait for the opposite side to approach you. With this strategy, we can take all of them down all the opposite side reinforcements in one fell swoop if you can easily get to their range, otherwise, use Byleth's Goddess Dance to close the gap while they are still running towards you. |
5 | Eventually, Griss will start chasing your team. This happens once no more regular reinforcements will spawn. you can either wait for him or use the Entrapment Staff to put him in the center of your team for a beatdown. |
6 | Once done, position your attackers at the stage's entrance then use Astra Arrow on Zephia. Once Zephia goes aggressive, four fliers will spawn on the stage's entrance. Astra Arrow will trigger this even if your units does not approach Zephia for easy clean up. |
7 | Lure Zephia to your team then defeat her Similar to Griss, you can wait for her to walk into your range or use Entrapment to put her in your range immediately. |
8 | Do not attempt to lure Veyle! Make sure to gather all the Emblem Energy on the map until all your Emblems are ready to go. |
9 | Have all your units slow push until Veyle comes into attacking range.! Once Veyle goes into attacking range, the area will spawn massive ammounts of reinforcements. |
10 | Have all your units jump at Veyle and beat her as soon as possible! Delaying the battle at this point will be highly disadvantageous to you as you'll be approached by enemies on all sides of the map. |
There will be a bunch of reinforcements that will appear on this stage. The first one would be mounted soldiers on the left and right starting area. This will continue to occur for a few times until Griss attempt to chase after your team himself. The next one would be Zephia's Wyvern rider flank from the stage's starter area. They will spawn immediately when Zephia goes into attacking range or when you start luring her.
The third one would be Dragons that keeps on spawning on Veyle's area. They won't attempt to chase your team so leaving them be is fine. The last one would be all of these reinforcements at once when you go into battle with Veyle.
Much like the previous story chapters, Zephia can be defeated easily by using Lyn's Astra Arrow. This will severely damage her or downright destroy one of her revival stones if used by a strong enough unit. This will also cause her to approach the party alone which makes her easy to kill.
Veyle will often retaliate with strong magic attacks so Fliers like the Griffin Knight are great against her. You'll also want to unleash your Emblem attacks to make sure you deal high amounts of damage which makes every move crucial as there's only enough space to surround her.
You'll also want to defeat her in the same turn you start trading attacks with her and worse case scenario would be 1 more turn. Delaying the fight further will allow their reinforcements to surround you and eventually kill some of your units.
