Joins Your Party in Chapter 2

You will first meet Clanne in Chapter 1: Awake at Last, but Clanne will become playable and join Alear alongside Framme in battle during Chapter 2: Queen Lumera.

Whatever class you pick, pair Clanne with skills that benefit his attacking power whether it's Magic +5 or Strength +5. Of course, when delegating Clanne as a healer, choose Staff Mastery 5.

Clanne is more of an all around unit that excels in multiple roles. One way to keep him alive is to use Vantage++ which give Clanne the first attack during the enemy's phase.

Clanne has the potential to be a great offensive unit with his high HP, Spd, and Dex stat growth. Pair him with Micaiah and Celica to raise both his Mag and Res, making him a formidable tome user. Micaiah allows Clanne to heal allies even if you do not promote him to a staff using class.

Celica's skill of increasing magic power further at the cost of 1 HP is ideal for keeping Clanne in the rear while casting spells at a distance. Roy and Leif are great alternatives for raising Clanne's Str and HP, together with the other skills mentioned above that Clanne can get from them.

Clanne Paired Ending and Romance

Pact Ring with Clanne

After clearing Chapter 22, players unlock The Connector Paralogue and can subsequently unlock the Pact Ring. This essentially acts as Fire Emblem Engage's S-Rank Support and romance route.

Alear can then give the ring to Clanne once they have attained an A-Rank in support to view a special cutscene, and unlock a page in the reference about the life they lived together.

Clanne's Memento

Clanne's ribbon. He gave me this as a symbol of his devotion and admiration.

Apart from obtaining an exclusive ending with Clanne after giving the Pact Ring, players can also head to Alear's room and check the small table next to their bed to find a memento from him.

While the memento serves no purpose in combat whatsoever unlike the Merc Whistle in Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes, it further contextualizes the paired ending selected by the player.
