 Archer
|
You will need archers to take care of the fliers that appear on the enemy side as reinforcements. You'll also want a dedicated Archer to pilot the Ballista to support your team in the center of the map. |
 Lance Armor
|
Armored units are indespensible for the first few rounds as the enemy will swarm your team from four directions. |
 Micaiah
|
Micaiah's self sacrifice allows your team to basically survive even when scattered. You can also place the emblem holder just in front of the gate and still be able to heal the own team without risk of dying. |
Chapter 8 Battle Walkthrough
| Objective | |
|---|---|
| 1 | Protect the Four Entrances immediately The four entrances are the two entrances on the left and right side and the two destroyable barricades. These barricades will fall easily around the 2nd turn. |
| 2 | Have your archer pilot the Ballista and focus the mages and fliers on the enemy side. Making sure the mages are dead will allow your armored units to survive longer on the field while the fliers will solely focus on entering the gate. Make sure to eliminate both threats! |
| 3 | Keep on holding the fort There is no need to push too far from the starting point as Ivy will eventually push forward herself. |
| 4 | Focus the Archer's attack on Ivy As a Flier, Ivy will quickly fall when focused by anti fliers. You can also obtain a Wind Tome on the battlefield and convoy it back to a spell caster. |
2. Use the Ballista with an Archer
There is a Ballista infront of the castle gate and while it looks like a normal mountable tile, you'll actually need a unit that can use bows and have bows equipped to use the said machine. Units like Etie and Alcryst are therefore, recommended to participate in this stage.
