You will first meet Framme in Chapter 1: Awake at Last, but Framme will become playable and join Alear alongside Clanne in battle during Chapter 2: Queen Lumera.

As a healer and close-range fighter, it's best to position Framme near allies as Quality Time+ heals adjacent allies. Staff Mastery 5 is also great for healing entire HP bars.
While keeping Framme outside of battle is the best way to maximize her use, using Strength +5 and Vantage++, keeps her strong enough to kill low HP enemies that are set on attacking her.

Corrin, Roy, Micaiah and Leif can grant Framme the needed boosts and skills she needs to maximize her as a defensive healer while boosting her offense as well.
Since Framme is best positioned near allied units, pairing her with Lucina and Byleth are great alternatives with Lucina's powerful chain attacks and Bonded Shield ability that guards adjacent allies, and Byleth's Goddess Dance and Instruct boosts for adjacent allies.

After clearing Chapter 22, players unlock The Connector Paralogue and can subsequently unlock the Pact Ring. This essentially acts as Fire Emblem Engage's S-Rank Support and romance route.
Alear can then give the ring to Framme once they have attained an A-Rank in support to view a special cutscene, and unlock a page in the reference about the life they lived together.
Framme's Memento
Framme's hat. She gave me this as a symbol of our friendship, asking me to think of her whenever I wear it.
Apart from obtaining an exclusive ending with Framme after giving the Pact Ring, players can also head to Alear's room and check the small table next to their bed to find a memento from her.
While the memento serves no purpose in combat whatsoever unlike the Merc Whistle in Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes, it further contextualizes the paired ending selected by the player.

Anonymous almost 3 yearsI’ve been investing heavily into Framme, Martial Master with +5 Divine Fist Arts engraved with Corrin for a boost in crit, gave her Edelgard for the extra Strength and Dex. If she’s not dodging (which she IS dodging like 80% of the time) she’s blocking attacks it’s kinda nuts most enemies flat out ignore her. She also makes for a great healer with Diffusion and Quality Time skills allowing me to grind other units more easily. I’d say she’s atleast A tier if you invest in her enough.
